Dog rescued via rappel in British Columbia

It’s just a routine rescue for the folks at North Shore Search and Rescue in British Columbia but for one lucky dog his heroes are guys who luckily know how to rappel.

The puppy chased a chipmunk off a 140 foot cliff on St Mark’s Summit along the Howe Sound Crest Trail in North Shore.

Members had to rappel down, secure the dog on a ledge and bring the puppy back up to safety.

Aside from a few scratches, all were okay, dog and rescuers.
