Aussie pub bans troublesome pair of toast-stealing emus who pooped and left

The problems began when Kevin and Carol learned that steps go into pubs and pubs are where the people and food are.

The emus were already a bit of a tourist attraction in the town of Yaraka in western Australia.

Originally, they were part of a group of nine emus, but the two were the only ones who didn’t wander away or died.

According to locals, the emus are large animals and stand at just over 6-and-a-half feet tall.

Last week, the pair reportedly began entering the pub in the Yaraka Hotel and things have not been going well. The duo only recently learned how to walk up the front steps of the hotel, according to the Associated Press.

“They’ve been stealing things from the guests, especially their food. They’d stick their heads in and pinch toast out of the toaster,” said hotel co-owner Gerry Gimblett.

But the main reason the emus were banned was not because they stole toast. They left behind their poop.

They’re enormous, very large and very smelly, and they created great stains,” said Gimblett
