Think the people who travel in avalanche country are hardcore adventurers.
Well, meet the dogs who rush to their rescue.
Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England has shared a dramatic video of just how skilled these canine alpinists are when it comes to finding humans caught in a slide.

These dogs really dig.
Some of our dogs, handlers and bodies are in the Cairngorms this week practising their winter searching skills including finding people buried in the snow.
The dogs absolutely love digging people out from snowholes. pic.twitter.com/b0XPZT5Aez— Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England (@SARDAEngland) February 17, 2019
Not every pooch is cut out for mountain and backcountry life.
It takes a lot of work to get to this level and become a SAR dog.

And commitment from their handlers.
Often they are on the hunt for missing, lost or buried people. And, the outcomes are not always happy.
We are so glad that you all enjoy seeing our working dogs in action.
But this #LoveYourPetDay we would like you to see them in their downtime, as our search dogs are also our beloved family pets.
The loving bond between dog & handler makes for a fantastic search team. pic.twitter.com/spY4AK36si

Flo, by the way, is the dog featured in the rescue video that has gone viral.
The video quickly gained more than 1 million views.
And little wonder.
As can be heard at the end, “What a good girl,” indeed.
Many of you have asked about the dogs name.
She is Search Dog Flo, a Border Collie from @edalemrt in the Peak District.
She is almost 4 years old and is a brilliant search dog.See more of our dogs at #MeetOurSearchDogs or on our website:https://t.co/5PFQo0iFgB pic.twitter.com/SlNDXOjOdj
