Blind goat kidnapped from animal rescue FARRM in Canada

Who does this?

Someone snatched a blind goat from an animal sanctuary in northern Alberta.

You have to be kidding me. Nope.

Farm Animal Rescue & Rehoming Movement – FARRM, which as as its name suggests, takes in unwanted or abused farm animals, is now desperately searching for Daisy.

“Daisy the goat was stolen off of the FARRM property,” the non-profit posted on Facebook Sunday night. “FARRM is located 10 minutes outside of Wetaskiwin. The suspects had a vehicle, no description identified at this time.”

There is a “substantial reward” for her return.

FARRM just wants Daisy home.

“Anyone with any information about Daisy’s abduction or whereabouts can also call or text 780 717 2813 anytime. All information is confidential and a substantial financial award will be provided for her safe return, no questions asked.”

Why target Daisy?

Some supporters of the facility have some theories, including a misguided effort to “free” the animal by activists.

FARRM does invite people to meet the animals and they do some art

“We have had some people saying that our art projects we do with them is cruel :(,” FARRM posted.

But Daisy has in fact been the poster child for rehabilitation.
