Klonda Richey was known for her love of cats.
The 57-year-old Ohio woman was found dead in her front yard last month after her coat was apparently torn off by mixed-breed dogs who attacked and fatally wounded her.
Two people, next door neighbours, have since been arrested.
Dayton police went to the house after receiving a report of a naked person on the sidewalk. When police arrived, they discovered the body. They were also charged at by two male dogs, prompting officers to shoot and kill the animals.
According to the Dayton Daily News, there have been reports filed about the two male dogs in the past. The dogs are believed to be part Cane Corsos, also known as Italian mastiffs.
