The story behind this photograph? We’re not exactly sure.
This picture came across Xinhua, China’s official news source without a story.
We were curious and didn’t know any of the context. The caption for the story was “Unhappy first meet between lonely polar bear and sled dog.”
But no story accompanied the photograph.
We did some searching around and came across this Youtube video from the BBC about a sled dog owner who could only watch helplessly when a polar bear came close.
