Our friend Kathryn Mills of Toronto posted this picture of fresh snow tracks made by a critter.
We tried to guess what they were but couldn’t figure it out.
She solved the mystery.
She figures the critters are voles and made that determination by the size of the prints and the presence in some spots of the straight line that suggests a tail touching the snow.
Pretty smart!
Got a query wondering what critter made tracks in the snow? Send it to us via our Facebook page and maybe we could convince some of our resident Critter Experts to help us identify the tracks.
