Christian LeBlanc has uploaded what is probably the world’s first “elphie.”
While travelling in Thailand, the British Columbia man posted this photo to Instagram. An elephant grabbed his GoPro camera and started snapping. The result, a pretty amazing selfie, taken by an pretty amazing animal.
“Just had an article written about my #elphie (elephant selfie, clever I know) in the Daily Mail and the Mirror UK,” LeBlanc wrote on his May 19 post.
Hundreds of people have now liked the photo on Instagram and the story has gone around the globe as LeBlanc continues travelling and taking quite a few selfies.
But as one admirer pointed out: “This trumps a selfie stick.”
