Here’s an amazing critter sighting from Canmore, Alta. this week. A herd of elk swimming down the Bow River in the middle of the Rocky Mountain resort town.
“We were walking down to the river today when we came upon this amazing sight!” wrote Marcia Kinash on YouTube where she posted the video on April 22.
Another local woman also filmed the elk swimming and posted the video to Facebook.
“I guess they have their own way of celebrating earth day,” Emily Compton wrote. “Community swim :)”
