Eurasian lynx inhabit Western Europe through Russia and into Central Asia and there are about 40,000 left in the wild, the zoo said in a statement Friday announcing the pair’s arrival. Kazan, the male, and Anastasia, the female, are almost a year old. They previously called the Elmvale Jungle Zoo in Ontario home.
