Chuck Rossi of San Jose in Silicon Valley, has been watching a coyote mom and her herd of pups that had settled into his family’s backyard.
But when the mom was killed after getting hit by a car, Rossi knew the pups needed help. Animal rescue group Wildlife Emergency Services (WES) was called in.
As the director of engineering at FB, Rossi FB-ed the whole incident and used the increased attention to raise donations. So far, nearly $3,500 have been donated to help the orphaned pups.
Here’s how it all played out on FB including live video
