Police in Windsor, Ontario, Canada recently had a tough case to crack.

Officers with the Windsor Police Association responded to a call to help a gaggle of wayward ducks trapped in a confined space. The boys in blue jumped into action.

“WPS officers save 13 ducklings from sewer grate,” the service posted to Facebook on May 16. “Awesome job afternoon shift from Sunday!! Team work.”

Here’s what went down last weekend – literally.
