Forget the dog house.
This pooch is headed for the big house.
A woman in northwestern Ontario came home to find her dog, Finn, behind bars in the back of a police car.
Turns out Finn was trying to take down a deer, according to Emme Thompson who lives in Kenora.

But the Ontario Provincial Police did grant bail.

Oh, dear.
On Tuesday, OPP offered offered this good-humoured update.
“Patted down and sent to the dog house,” police posted on Facebook. “Finn was retrieved on Saturday after a dog was reported pursuing a deer on a road in Kenora. #OPP carefully corralled Finn, located his owners and had him safely returned with a story to tell and a stern warning about staying on leash.”
