Gilles Cyr wasn’t about to let a black bear get the better of him. When the Grand Falls, N.B. man was caught by surprise by an aggressive black bear, he did what any of us would have done – act on instinct and shove a fist in its face.
He told CBC about the unusual encounter.
“His mouth was wide open right in front of my face so the last thing I remember I had his tongue in my hand and I didn’t want to let go because he was trying to fight me off,” he said.
The bear took off leaving Cyr with a few cuts and giving creative computer types some great material to work with.
