Google marks Canadian Thanksgiving with maple leaves, pumpkin and of course a turkey

Google marks Canadian Thanksgiving Monday with a special doodle of maple leaves, pumpkin, multi-coloured squash and a turkey.

Canada has observed Thanksgiving as a holiday since 1879, celebrating the day a month before American Thanksgiving.

The holiday is known in Quebec as ‘Action de Grace’ in French.
