Got Goat? You can rent one from Amazon to graze your lawn

Goats are a combination of a lawnmower and a weed whacker.

They’re curious critters that like to at least taste almost anything resembling a plant.

They actually love to munch away at many types of vegetation that we find invasive, ugly, or harmful to humans. Goats can eat thistle, blackberry, English Ivy, kudzu, poison ivy, poison sumac, poison oak, wisteria, various grasses, and more.

But while your lawn may need a goat, it may not always be prudent to own one.

And now thanks to Amazon, you can have all the benefits on a grass-muching goat but not the long-term commitment. Goats have an average life span of 15 to 18 years.

If you book to hire a grazing goat, someone will come by your property to do an assessment of unwanted vegetation.

Then, once a pro has met with you to determine if unleashing some friendly goats on your property will help you get rid of any unwanted vegetation, you’ll receive a recommendation for how many goats will be loaned to you, how long those goats will keep you company, and how often a pro will come check on them to make sure they’re not attempting any fancy tricks to break free from the temporary fencing that will be placed around them.

As they graze, they will likely leave behind some droppings, too, and there’s no extra costs for this fertilizer which Amazon refers to as a friendly parting gift
