Hotel guest forgets his son, a boa constrictor name Chuck, in a hotel room

Guests can leave strange things in their hotel room but a housekeeper in Asheville, North Carolina found something this week that really shouldn’t have been there.

A boa constrictor was lounging around half under the sheets.

The snake, name Chuck, is the “son” of Neil Miller. He was visiting a friend when he accidentally left his 3-year-old Colombian red tail boa constrictor in the room.

I set him down for two minutes and forgot about him, walked out,” said Miller. “His temperament is good. I hold him all the time and pick him up.”

Miller often wears Chuck around his shoulders.

Asheville Police Department posted a photo of the snake with the advisory that the critter could be picked up at the Buncombe Animal County Shelter.
