This little piggy should have stayed home.
Instead, the piglet was found wandering down a major highway north of Toronto. But don’t worry, York Regional Police swooped in to save it.
Officers also had the best sense of humour about it.
“Despite the predictable cop/pig jokes we’ll receive,” the police department tweeted. “This cute little piggy was rescued by one of our officers on Friday morning when it was spotted hoofing it down S/B Hwy 400, in the area of Hwy 407.”
A local animal shelter is now caring for it.
No word if had roast beef or cried wee wee wee all the way home.
