Man makes tiny hats for wild toad he adopted

Chris Newsome noticed a tiny toad that kept appearing on his porch in Jacksonville, Alabama and found his calling as a haberdasher.

He uses felt and other materials to fashion the tiny toppers for the toad, who sometimes cooperates and sits very very still so the hat can be positioned.

Newsome created a hard hat for the toad along with a lunch box.

And because everyone is wearing a fez these days, the toad got his own fez.

His dog Daisy however, remains unimpressed.

Daisy tried the hat and didn’t care for it too much.
