Miley Cyrus sings ode to dead pets on Saturday Night Live

Ah Miley…Just when we think a weekend would pass at Critter Files without you making critter news, we learn about your performance on Saturday Night Live.

The performer had tears streaming down her face when she sat down at the piano and belted out her ballad ‘I Had A Dream (Twinkle Song).’

The song was written reportedly about the death of Miley’s beloved pets.

According to Rolling Stone,  the photographs on top of Miley’s piano included Floyd, her husky, and her blowfish name Pablow.

In her Instagram account, Miley posted a close up picture of Floyd.

She closed the song with the lyrics ‘And I had a dream I was being chased by a monster, maybe they were aliens but I wasn’t scared cause you were there,” as tears began streaming down her face.
