Missing Mommy: Gary the Dog still in mourning a year after the loss of Carrie Fisher

Any animal lover knows, the loss of a pet can be overwhelming.

The sadness doesn’t quickly fade. And almost anything can suddenly induce tears.

Perhaps the same can be said of pets who long for their dearly-departed owners.

Gary the Dog is no exception.

Gary is the French bulldog who called Carrie Fisher mommy: “You may know my brilliant mom, Princess Leia?”

It’s almost one year since the Star Wars star’s death and Gary remains in mourning.
