It’s National Pet Day. Well, isn’t everyday?
But today, April 11, is set aside to “highlight the unconditional love pets bring to our lives and to encourage adoption,” according Colleen Paige, who found the organization to mark the occasion.
The tradition, goes back more than a decade and is beloved by all creatures great, small and famous. And, just how much do we love our pets? According to the American Pet Products Association, we spent $66.75-billion on our pets last year, and will likely dish out $69.36-billion this year.
