NFLer Torrey Smith of Philadelphia Eagles picks up adoption fee tab at shelter for 46 animals

Philadelphia Eagles Torrey Smith has a huge following on the field as a wide receiver and off the field he’s earned a great reputation for his charitable heart.

Last weekend, Smith was at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)’s “Pawject Runway,” a fashion show for cats and dogs.

Smith, who used to play for the Ravens, is a friend of the organization and frequent guest of the event. He has MC-ed some of their fundraisers.

He announced after the show that he and his wife Chanel are paying the adoption feeds of all the animals at the shelter.

A short time later, his agent Drew Rosenhaus announced he was going to match the donation.
