Stephen Paice was on a camping trip in 2013, on his way to the shower, when he found a unexpected guest in the stall: a lounging possum.
The video, titled “No shower for me today,” was posted on YouTube more than a year ago. But through the miracle of social media and the internet, it’s gaining traction now with more than 1.3 million views. (We can’t even trace where exactly new life was injected into this old video, but who cares, it’s crazy cute.)
“I came in ready to take my shower, pulled the canvas bag down and, just before I poured the water in, found this little fella,” the Australian man says as the camera is rolling. “So, no shower for me this morning. Yeah? You’ve reserved it.”
