Tonight may be all about the Battle of Alberta, but yesterday the Calgary Flames surrendered to the dogs.
Well, puppies to be precise.
An armload of puppies took in practise on Friday at the Saddledome as the Flames get ready to take on the Edmonton Oilers.

“It’a awesome. It’s a lot of fun. It’s relaxing,” said centre Sam Bennett, while cradling a playful pooch. “They bring good moods and put smiles on people’s faces.”

The initiative done in partnership with the Cochrane Humane Society with an eye to encouraging adoption.
