Stray dog earns place as mascot for Hyundai car dealership in Brazil

A stray dog who kept hanging around a car dealership was adopted and became a staff member, earning his own badget.

Now Tucson Prime, as he was known, has become so popular that Hyundai is going to feature him in a national ad campaign.

It’s a great Cinderella story of what can happen if you persevere, have a routine and sit, good boy!

“After all, the company has always been pet friendly, so now we decided to embrace this idea in practice too, having our own pet precisely at a more complicated time like this with so many abandoned animals,” says showroom manager Emerson Mariano.

Mariano decided to take the dog in during a stormy evening and was immediately smitten with Tuscon’s gentle and loving nature.

Afterward, Tuscon was adopted and taken to the vet to receive the necessary vaccinations. With a clean bill of health, the happy pooch now provides smiles and a wagging tail to all that stop by the dealership.

He has his own badge and a growing IG account.

And Tuscon’s whirlwind adventure isn’t over yet. Hyundai has asked the lucky pooch to make an appearance in a national advertisement campaign so that he can win over even more hearts.
