Democracy has gone to the dogs – in the cutest possible way.
Voters in the United Kingdom headed to the polls last week, some of them with their pooches in tow. And, the social media savvy owners were quick to post photos of their dogs patiently waiting outside the ballot boxes.
Soon, the hashtag #DogsAtPollingStations began trending on Twitter. Political pups, indeed. Oh, and ICYMI, the Conservative Party under David Cameron won a slim majority.
