In Halifax, they have to deal with wandering seals.
But the story is much different in Australia where a koala on the street swaggered down a busy street in the pretty coastal town of Portland in Victoria.
The koala attracted lots of attention on the street but seemed oblivious to the stares.
At one point, it even stopped and looked like it was posing for a young boy who wanted to snap a shot of the unusual sight, according to one witness.
“It looked at the little boy as if to say ok hurry up, come on. Take your photo.
