Dick spent his life in a cage. That was life for this moon bear relegated to life on a bile bear farm. But once rescued and now being rehabilitated at an Animals Asia sanctuary in Chengdu, China, Dick is showing the rest of us how to live.
As Animals Asia noted in a truly wonderful video uploaded to YouTube recently:
“For a rescued bear – a leaf that looks so good, that’s just out of reach, is no real obstacle. They can smell it and even taste it. Like being rescued and sanctuary life – it can be theirs.”
“The perseverance shown by Dick in this video, is nothing short of inspirational,” the group says.
More than 60,000 people who have watched the video, no doubt, agree.
