Everyone knows cats love boxes.
Cats love boxes and buckets, and any kind of container so much, owners know to never dare ditch them.
Watch Maru, an 11-year-old Scottish Fold, test out one such bin.
The cat soon learns this container doesn’t quite fit.
But cares only enough to flick his tail.
Maru, which means “Round” in Japanese, has mastered this box.
This one, not so much. Sorry about your luck, Hana, the other cat.
Don’t worry, I’ll get you back.
For his part, Maru has become rather famous.
Guinness, the compilers of World Records, has even heralded the box-loving cat for most views of an animal on YouTube.
Yes, that’s a legitimate world record. Not too shabby for a tabby in Japan.
Also, not your usual bucket of chicken.
This trash bin maybe shouldn’t be take out.
Same goes with this one.
Does this box make me look fat?
This cat could really give a master class in box etiquette.
Gold stars.
Thank you Mara (and Hana) for supplying the internet with pure cat-box bliss.
