Forget the smooth tones of Bing Crosby. Forget Mariah and Buble belting out Christmas carols.
If you really want to get into the holiday spirit, turn up the goats.
A Swedish aid group has released a Christmas album of eight carols sung by goats including those traditional standards Silent Night and Jingle Bells.
When it’s cold outside
And the darkness of winter prevails
The Christmas goat invites us all to an emotional moment by the fire place.
The album, which costs 225 Swedish krona, or the equivalent of $36 Cdn, draws attention to the work that ActionAid is doing. The charitable organization helps people in poverty and those who face discrimination with aid in establishing homes and by helping them with food aid or education.
Listening to goats sing Christmas carols–what could be more zen than that?
