Talk about the right person being in the right place at the right time.
Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick, otherwise known as Ireland’s “supervet” happened to rescue a wayward swan as he was on his way to a radio interview to talk about his new book, Listening to the Animals.
The veterinarian ushers the swan away from traffic, scoops it up into his suit jacket and then releases into a nearby canal.
“We came across this poor confused fella who was stuck in the middle of the main road,” the veterinarian posted on Twitter. “Having experienced many Swan rescues down the years I knew I could help… mission accomplished.”
“A job well done,” the orthopaedic-neuro veterinary surgeon, says after releasing the swan into the water.
A super vet, indeed.
