The Cincinnati Zoo’d new baby hippo Fiona is all kinds of cute. The zoo has been posting regular updates.
The baby hippo born in February is now 130 pounds.
Although she’s still unable to venture out by herself outdoors, Fiona has an active internal life. She keeps busy inside. She has an inflatable pool float where she relaxes. Here’s an interesting fact: Hippos don’t actually float or swim. They walk along the bottom of pools and propel themselves to the surface to get air.
The zoo just posted this new video of baby Fiona asleep and obviously dreaming.
