Just Koko the gorilla playing a little bass with Flea. As any sign language fluent gorilla is want to do.
As in Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who is busy supporting The Gorilla Foundation during a recent visit.
“What I needed was one of these bad ass koko shirts!” the rock star posted on Facebook with this photo.
As you can see, Koko knows how to rock.
“One of Koko’s favorite musicians, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers came to visit,” the foundation wrote. “Koko was thrilled by the mellow sounds and a jamming session followed with Koko strumming on Flea’s bass!”
And, Flea is too adorable with this gentle giant.
“this is the greatest thing that every happened,” he said. “This is the greatest day that I’ll never forget in my life.”
Millions of people have now watched these videos, which will hopefully translate into support for conservation work.
“You can help gorilla conservation at koko.org believe it or not people slaughter these incredible, intelligent, and benevolent animals for sport,” Flea posted. “They are headed towards extinction. Help Koko & The Gorilla Foundation if you can I beg humbly.”
He also signed his guitar for Koko.
