A big city wildlife rehabilitation facility showed this week that big or small, they love them all.
On Monday, National Park Service workers found a scurry of week-old squirrels on the White House lawn. The five babies seemingly tumbled out of a maple tree in President’s Park. The wee things were scooped up by their rescuers and whisked to City Wildlife in the District of Columbia.

“They were found orphaned by our staff doing tree maintenance on the north lawn,” the park service added.
The five squirrels – two males and three females – were brought in by National Park Service employees.
“None appear to have any injuries and, so far, they are doing well!” City Wildlife posted on Facebook. And, could they be any cuter?
