From Dorothy’s Toto to Benji to Ron Burgundy’s Baxter, some of the most famous canines in the world were played by dog actors. RIP! You never hear of puppy actors growing up to have drug abuse problems like those kids from Different Strokes and those two Coreys. Four legs obviously keep you grounded. The Guardian newspaper gathered together some of the more memorable canines captures on film. Who knew that Terry, the canine star who played Toto was paid more than many of the human characters. Terry earned $125 per week!
