The Calgary Stampeders took down the Edmonton Eskimos 16-7 in the CFL’s annual Labour Day Classic, but this wayward rabbit had the play of the game by leaps and bounds.
During the first half, a jackrabbit ran across the field at McMahon Stadium in Calgary Monday afternoon making the most incredible jump through end zone. Naturally, someone promptly set up @CFLRABBIT on Twitter as social media lit up with odes to the bunny’s humongous hop. Even the official CFL Twitter account couldn’t resist weighing in on the rookie rabbit’s debut.
