This is beautiful game has the most beautiful soul.
A Chilean soccer team recently waltzed onto the field with dogs from a local shelter to raise awareness about adoption in that country.
The football club, Colo-Colo, wowed the crowd — and the internet — with its kindness and love of animals.
The dogs were also pretty cute.

The dogs without owners were treated as mascots. Royalty in sport, really.

Awwww!
The fans went wild for the gesture.
Colo-Colo, by the way, has signed on with animal welfare group Unión de Amigos de los Animales.

Dogs and soccer, after all, is a win-win.
Colo-Colo, by the way plays in the Primera Division de Chile, finished the game in a no-score tie.

But that didn’t matter.
You can see more of the dogs here. Just watch from around 1:34 until about 2:04.
