This Golden Pheasant which has the nickname of Little Red, has gotten a lot of attention lately, chiefly for looking like someone who just got elected.
The Golden Pheasant is one of the stars at the Hangzhou Wild Animal World (Safari Park) a tourist attraction with hundreds of animals on site, including lions, leopards, swans and golden monkeys.
Mr Gao, the keeper of the bird, told MailOnline that he was surprised to hear the news, however he had begun to notice the resemblance between the two.
Mr Gao works for Hangzhou Safari Park in eastern China, where the five-year-old bird lives.
I had not noticed the likeness in the past because I had not paid particular attention to the pheasant’s hairstyle. But after Trump was elected President ofAmerica, I start seeing more pictures of him and I think the pheasant looks a little bit like him.”
He said the pheasant was called ‘Little Red’ because of his extremely red feathers.
