Firefighters in Miami responded to an unusual rescue call this week.
A young resident contacted the Miami Beach Fire Department about a cat lodged down a sewer. Station 1 B-shift responded, dropping a leash down the hole, looping it around the kitty and hoisting her up to safety.
She was a little soggy and frightened, but otherwise uninjured.
“Looks like the newly rescued kitten made a friend,” the fire department posted on Facebook yesterday. “Interested in adopting?”
Nathalie Gil Rosa cheekily responded: “Can I adopt both!”
But seriously, who could resist this face?
