Four different owners are under investigation by SPCA after 11 emaciated horses were found in Kamloops, known around here as horse country.
These poor animals were so starved and neglected one of them had to be euthanized on the spot when investigators discovered the conditions they were in. The horse owners’ identities and the locations of their farms have not been publicly released.
CTV reports that cruelty investigator Kent Kokoska said the horses were near death when found.
