Ricky Gervais announced some very sad canine co-star news.
The British comedian shared on his social media channels that Anti, who portrayed “Brandy” for three seasons on his hit Netflix show After Life, has died.
“She was 13 and a very good girl,” Gervais wrote on Facebook.

Vislor Antilly, a German shepherd known as Anti, was a movie star in her own right.
She was featured in Tom Cruise’s Edge Of Tomorrow and also starred with George Clooney in The Midnight Sky and was cast in his The Boys in the Boat movie. She also strutted her stuff in Michael Fassbender’s Trespass Against Us.
She was born in April, 2011 in Herefordshire, at the home of West Bromwich-based Vislor Dog Training Centre.

In After Life, Gervais plays a newspaper reporter dealing with the loss of his wife. Brandy, the couple’s dog, helps him through his grief — unconditionally.
She retired from TV and film in 2024.
“Vislor Antilly, known to most people worldwide as Brandy, Ricky Gervais’ loyal sidekick in the Netflix smash hit After Life, has passed away peacefully at her home in Oxfordshire at the age of 13,” read a statement.
“We already miss her terribly. Sleep well,” her Instagram account posted with a tribute video.
