Queen Elizabeth visited the Royal Welsh, a regiment of the British Army, on Friday.
Among other royal duties at their base in Tidworth, the Queen inspected the parade. She also presented leeks to the troops for St. David’s Day, and met their mascot, a very handsome goat named Llywelyn.
“I am delighted to be able to present leeks to representatives of the Regiment, from cadets to comrades,” The Queen said.
The goat, naturally, maintained stiff upper lip throughout.
