Tennis star Serena Williams hit the streets in Spain this weekend ahead of her Madrid Open match with her favourite companion, her dog Lorelei.
Apparently, Williams brings her Maltese terrier with her whenever she travels.
Esther Lee, Williams’ trainer and physiotherapist, was also along for the walk around Madrid with her dog, a little Yorkie.
Williams is defending her Madrid Open title and won her first set Sunday, beating Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic of Switzerland 6-2, 6-1.
One of her top rivals, Maria Sharapova, beat Klara Koukalova 6-1, 6-2 in her first round.
And yes, if we find a picture of Sharapova walking her dog, we’ll post that too.
