Body cameras capture all kinds of bad guys in action.
At the Brockport Police Department in New York, a particularly harried perpetrator was caught in the act of a break and enter and cookie theft. And that’s when the pip-squeak suspect tried to make a run for it and attacked police – sort of.
Police can be heard laughing throughout the investigation.
Because. This.
Don’t be worried, nobody was injured during the altercation.
The pint-sized perp was even set free without charges.
“On December 29th, 2017 Brockport Police were called to a residence for a squirrel that had broken into the house, reportedly eating cookies in the kitchen,” the department posted on Facebook. “Officers Sime and Dawson arrived on scene but were not at all expecting the warm welcome they would receive from the squirrel. The squirrel was ultimately captured by officers and released without injury. The homeowner was very relieved that their uninvited guest was set free.”
