The mob of meerkats residing at the Calgary Zoo has grown by five. The facility announced the Dec. 9 birth of five new slender-tailed meerkat pups. They first emerged from their den – with mother, Petunia – on Christmas Day. The pups are now a month old, incredibly active – and ready for visitors.
