A year ago, Joshua Sutherland’s family was visiting South Africa. On a safari they encountered a pride of lions. One particular lioness got curious about the onlookers, sauntered up to their car and used her teeth to open the passenger door.
The encounter was posted on YouTube last year, but through the wonders of social media, is now enjoying a second wind with more than 4 million clicks.
“Did you know lions could open car doors?” Sutherland wrote. “My sisters were visiting our parents, while serving a mission in South Africa, and had an experience of a lifetime.”
