Dolly Parton’s latest venture is designed to give your furry friends a little “Dolly flair.”
The singer and entrepreneur has launched her new “Doggy Parton” pet apparel line in partnership with SportPet Designs, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit an animal rescue headquartered in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
“’Puppy Love’ was my very first record and six decades later, my love for pets is stronger than ever,” Parton said.
Doggy Parton products range from a red gingham overalls dress to T-shirts that read “Dolly & Mighty Fine Band” and “In a World Full of Jolenes, be a Dolly.”
There’s a blonde bombshell wig, of course, as well as a sparkling beaded butterfly necklace and a pink cowgirl hat with a tiara.
Toys in the line include a high heel squeaky toy, a “Backwoods Barbie” LP Record Plush, an acoustic guitar and a microphone.
Also available are collars, leashes and harnesses with Dolly style (think gingham and pink with ruffles and rhinestones).
