It’s a name fit for a king — and the fluffiest penguin chick around.
The Calgary Zoo recently revealed the name of its king penguin chick.
The little dude was christened Edward- after King Edward VII, who ruled from 1901-1910. “King Edward Point,” aalso named after, is the capital of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, which is home to world’s largest colony of king penguins.

You can see the fluffy king in action during the zoo’s daily penguin walks, depending on weather. Too warm or too cold and the penguins won’t be waddling.
