Chorus of crying baby rhinos after their milk runs out (not exactly music to your ears)

You’ve never heard a baby crying until you’ve heard these babies crying.

This trio of baby rhinos watched as their moms were killed by poachers in South Africa. Now, Care for Wild Africa is rehabilitating them – along with dozens of other orphaned rhinos, victims of the illegal trade in rhinoceros horns.

The group posted a video of the newly motherless babies crying when their milk runs out, which has been watched almost 1 million times in just a few days.

New mothers will no doubt recognize – and quickly be annoyed by – the sounds of a hungry baby. But it’s also kind of adorable.

“Care for Wild Africa is the largest rhino orphanage in the world, and is committed to the successful rescue, care, and rehabilitation of Africa’s wildlife,” the South African sanctuary noted on YouTube.
